How exciting DJ! I had no idea that your injury had interfered with high school. I am so impressed by this web site, I am sure that you will do extremely well in going for your diploma. I am so excited for you!

Thanks ladylimpsalot! Yeah it's definitely nice being back in school after 2.5 years!

Don't let those young ladies become a distraction Glad all is well. Are you thinking of going into some kind of computer tech stuff? You do seem to have a nack for it.
Can't help you with the homework DJ, can hardly help my 6yr. old. They sure have changed the way they teach things.
I don't know kilg0retr0ut, things are so fast paced these days! Either you have to lean and understand a lesson as soon as you've been taught it else you can take your time to learn and understand it but you'll fall behind.

That was another poor attempt at humor. The wife and I were just talking about this. The current system crams a bunch in, tests, then moves on. My wife's feels like she could be getting much more from her classes. Here they have started teaching a curriculum called Common Core. It's suppose to change the surface learning and teach things more in depth.
So maybe you learn enough to pass, come back to it later. A tutor? I wish I had some worth while advice, maybe someone more qualified will chime in.
I know kilg0retr0ut! Many years ago, we had grade 13/year 13 which meant you attended school for 13 years and then post secondary. Now it's 12 years then post secondary so it's all just been crammed!
I'm 2 years behind in school due to my accident, I don't think I want to come back and do more later on

My point about coming back to it, is if it's something you need or want to learn more in depth. You can cram and pass, much like I did, but I didn't retain much. I graduated high school with a 1.5 grade average, made the deans list my first semester of college. Sounds like you just need to get through it, then move on.
