I'm so over clutter being left on the floor. Living with my 2 1/2 year old daughter is starting to drive me nuts, really. I'm so sick of going up the hall to our room only to be stopped by stuff left there, bikes, scooters, dolls, anything you can think of it's on our floor. I really think that members of my family don't realize that something small on the floor can stop me in my tracks, I'm lucky that I can lean over and get it out of the way I guess, but that's not the point. And don't start me on bloody rugs, lol my front casters get stuck in rugs when I try to turn or the rug lifts up and I can't go to where I want to go. Rant over........
thats my monster in my profile pic, you might think she's cute but wait till you meet her.
Poor Butiki...i do feel sorry for you..i can imagine how frustrating it must be.. ...But..just wait till you are on your crutches and trying to negotiate around these obstacles...my doggie has a real bad habit of trying to get me to fall over her...often
Clutter on the floor of my home is such a big peeve with me too. I live independently so it is usually not a problem. When people come into my house and visit or do something to help me out they often leave things in the way that block my from getting down the hall to the bathroom, bedroom or kitchen. They have no concept of not being able to bend over an move something. When my back is really painful bending over is not an option. I have been trapped in my living room for several hours at a time. Not good when I need to get down the hall to take care of bowel or bladder needs.
My cats know to shift now, they've been tripped & trodden on often enough to learn
It didn't take long for our dog to learn to get out of the way, I think I ran over her tail a few times. Now when she's around me and I'm on the move she follows me from behind instead of trying to get in the lead. And yes, shoes and thongs are always in the way.
