Support for the elderly and disabled could be on the chopping board in Australia.
The opposition is accusing Tony Abbott of breaking an election promise in the next budget.
Australia correspondent Donna Demaio says it believes the Government will be tightening the purse strings significantly.
"They believe that the federal government is planning to hike up that retirement age right up to 70 and also look at tightening the rules around disability support payments."
