I could use an aid or a thicker pen but I haven't really tried yet. Are the any quads on here that can write with or without an aid/adapted pen?

Thanks for the info! I've tried using fine liners (markers with very fine points) but it's not ideal writing with fine liner. I'll try a heavy ball point pen and if it doesn't work I'm going to have to try out one of those assistive devices.

Hey DJ,

This is what I do... I put a pen in through the palm and out the thumb hole of my glove. It doesn't work well until the gloves are broken in a bit, it's too tight of a fit on new gloves. Out of trial and error I found the fatter pens work better. I also use a fork this way. This works for me; I'm sure it won't work for everyone. I've never had a problem with pressure or anything but as with trying anything new--be on the lookout!
