I am a PhD student based in London.I am aiming to carry out a case study on the experience of transitioning from employment to unemplyment following spinal cord injury.
Anyone willing to help me by participating will be able to share his or her personal experience from this prospective. The interview would take approximately 1 hour and it will be dealt with in a highly confidential manner. The case study will gain an ethical approval from my university.
Please get in touch if you are interested. I should be able to provide more details.
My project is led by my supervisor Professor Jonathan Smith.
Please let me know if you need more information.
DJ, I am looking to recruit any spinal cord injury person who had a previous occupation (student, self-employed, paid work, voluntary work). It would be great if we could get in touch so you could know more about the case study.
Yes DJ, it would usually be a face to face interview, but that could be either through physically meeting the person or conducting an online (Skype) interview.

Oh ok, I see. Thought it might have been an in-person thing only. Thanks for the info!
Just wondering why it isnt available on a questionnaire which is the norm?
The interview is around an hour long Lαrα, might be quite a bit longer if it was done as a questionnaire?
Mmm im not sure DJ..i think there may be more responses from members if they were closed questions. At least they have the record too for the replies...but im not sure to be honest
The study has a qualitative nature which means data have to be collected inductively (not depending on hypothesis).
The aim of my case study is to use the method I referred to earlier. As you can see in the page I send the link to, my supervisor is the founder of this method.
