Hi all, I have several kinds of nerve pain. My better days I will have a warning. I feel like an electrical current is running through me. Anyways, I wanted to share a tincture that's working great for me. It's a cannibus tincture 1:1 THCa/CBD. To unpack that, 1:1 means 1 part to 1 part. I was especially interested in trying it because THCa does not produce euphoria and of course doctors embrace CBD benefits lacking euphoria. The lab tech told me they're finding cannibus for pain works better having both THC & CBD. I also got a 1:30 THC/CBD For insomnia. Whoa! A 1 drop wonder. Strong stuff. Don't think more is better. 2 drops gave me a hangover headache. Dunk down lots a water gets rid of it. This is good news because I got down to 700 mg. of Gabapentin. I want off, but it's not working to go lower.
Tonight on over the air TV, Bull, episode called Bad Medicine, the subject is about a young doctor who transported CBD oil across State lines. (I had posted here the link to the CBD oil description in the TV show. Sadly, that link no longer functions, so I have deleted it,)
Dang, I could spend my days on this forum. I too, fishkybizniz take gabapentin (4800mg/day in 3 doses). And I’d like to reduce my dependence upon my particular cocktail which I’ve had for at least 10-15 years. I also take a small dose of methadone (2.5mg am, and 5mg pm), some clonazepam (helps me go to sleep) and the ubiquitous antidepressant (Prozac). I also vape MMJ and I don’t mind the high at all 😏. I’m a bit worried on how to switch from being drug city to more natural ingredients. Will follow that thread definitely. Thank you all.
Gasp on all the medicine you take. But also, a big pat on the back for investigating how you might use natural ingredients to diminish the quantity of strong meds. Hipcrip, natural medicine will never work as fast as “medicine”. And it will almost never work as strong as “medicine”. It takes patience to get used to the slower and milder effect. But with the appreciation of natural remedies doing less (or no) harm to your body, you can slowly make the switch. Try some Valerian Root for depression,...sometime when you might not need Prozac. Just see if you can feel any relaxation at all from it.

Thanks vintage. I remember valerian root from my hippy days in San Francisco. I remember it having a bitter taste, probably why I didn’t drink it too much. I know St. John Wort is an alternative anti-depressant, but it cannot be taken in conjunction with Prozac. Thanks for the info, vintage. 😊
@hipcrypt Yikes! I agree with vintage, those medications and Gabapentin strength are pretty high.
@both I was surprised I could back down to 900mg of Gabapentin from 2,700mg with little push back. I'm not off but I made it to 700mg. That's 2,000mg better! Proves my body is still trying to recover. My Doc ordered 100mg caps to help. He suggested equal drops working from bedtime,to supper and a.m.'s last.
Also its exciting to have legalized pot in our State. The medical industry is already making cannibus medicines now that science can segregate the DNA of each part of the plant. I like the tincture. It bypasses the liver, equally fast acting as vape. I also like the tincture over vaping because vaping is messy and publically has to comply with second hand smoke laws. If you have to get high try THC 1:30. It's far more powerful than buds. I use 1 drop at bedtime for insomnia. They also have a THCa 1:1 that doesn't cause euphoria. It's not as strong as reg THC but worth trying for work and driving. ❤
My “go to” source for explanations on this type question is Hulda Clark’s book The Cure for All Diseases. I used to buy paper copies of the book, but now it’s free online as a pdf. drhuldaclark.curehelp.com/download-the-cure-diseases-here/ Page 75 “Fibromyositis and Fibromyalgia When pain is widespread, not just in joints or legs but in many muscles and soft tissues of your body your doctor may call it fibromyositis or fibromyalgia. For bacteria to get all over your body, they must be riding along with parasites that get all over your body. Microscopically tiny roundworms can do this...” -continue reading for Hulda Clark’s explanation of the condition and the cure.
My insurance doesn’t cover “dental”, and I can’t afford the $400 (estimate) to get started with a dentist. I would need X-rays, a deep cleaning, and possibly periodontal surgery. Then what I’d dreaded happened,...my gums started itching and hurting. For a few days I felt desperate, then I remembered food grade hydrogen peroxide (3% solution). I further diluted it with a couple of tablespoons of water in a cup, brushed with it, and got immediate relief! I know that I still need a dentist, but this was a huge relief.

Pheromones!! yes,the love potion stuff
Thank you Lara. This is a perfect thread! Well worth trying! My doctor has encouraged essential oils.
I'm trying essential oils that stimulate the pituatary brain connection. Definitely lifted my spirits! I call it my pheromone replacement therapy. LOL! My doctor tried a hormone cream. The hot flash side effects weren't worth it. He affirmed other patients success using essential oils. One thing I believe we all have in common is what our brains are doing with encrypted or unresponsive signal returns. What I love about this group is the willingness to take the intellectual approach. You guys are rock stars!
