I get neck pain sometimes and it worries me because I don't know if it's from the hardware. All scans have shown that it looks perfect so I doubt that it's the case but the worry is still there. The massage should help but like you said, only to an extent. So the pain is where you have your hardware or where you have no muscles Knight?
Knight, do you have muscle function in that area? You're T12 and down so do you thinking doing good workouts to target back back muscles would help?
I don't know, but don't back workouts include twisting? I can't twist at all. I don't have function in my lower abdominal muscles, my left side or back muscles. I think some of my pain has to do with the overuse of my right side and back muscles. I do stretches, but it's difficult to get out of those positions sometimes. I'm alone all day. I plan to go back to physical therapy, but after this last surgery, it's exceedingly difficult to lift in & out of my truck. I need my little car back.
Knight if you were to lie belly down on your bed with your upper body kinda hanging off the bed, could you do the excersize shown in the picture? It's a great workout for targeting back muscles.
DJ, I do that in my wheelchair and it helps. When I try to do it on the bed like you say, I slide head-first off the bed, haha! My upper body is quite a bit heavier than my stick legs. Lol!

Oh, haha yeah I didn't think about that! Just get someone to grab onto your ankles as you exercise.

Speaking of exercise involving someone holding my ankles... Lmao!
