Butiki....here is a list of 'possible' side effects on oral lyrica:
Drowsiness, dizziness, dry mouth, constipation, difficulty concentrating, swollen arms/legs, and weight gain may occur.(always tell your doctor if you experience any of these)
Tell your doctor right away if you have any unlikely but serious side effects: : blurred vision, unusual bleeding/bruising, unsteadiness, confusion, muscle pain/tenderness/weakness (especially if you are tired or have a fever), swelling of hands/legs/feet, change in amount of urine.
A small number of people who take anticonvulsants for any condition (such as seizure, bipolar disorder, pain) may experience depression, suicidal thoughts/attempts, or other mental/mood problems. Tell your doctor right away if you or your family/caregiver notice any unusual/sudden changes in your mood, thoughts, or behavior including signs of depression, suicidal thoughts/attempts, thoughts about harming yourself.
A very serious allergic reaction to this drug is rare. However, get medical help right away if you notice any symptoms of a serious allergic reaction, including: rash, itching/swelling (especially of the face/tongue/throat), severe dizziness, trouble breathing.
******Remember that your doctor has prescribed this medication because he or she has judged that the benefit to you is greater than the risk of side effects. Many people using this medication do not have serious side effects. **********
Please note:this is not a complete list....as with any new medication, if you notice anything different or unusual then speak to your doctor or pharmasist.
To be honest though Butiki....if you read all the side effects info on all medications, you would be worried to take anything at all....but companies have to list them.....but many poeple use Lyrica and its a well relied upon and prescribed pain med. ..dont worry too much Mr!

I can only tell you the side effects I noticed. When I first started it ,I turned into chatty cathy.Talk more than I normally would. Made my vision blurry. Short term memory went, and my brain seems to be in a fog. It also seems to make me tired. Even with all this it's better than the shocks IMO I hope it works for you with minimal side effects, let us know.
I'm stopping this Lyrica , only been on it since Thursday , all I want to do is sleep, I had two beers with lunch yesterday and crashed for 6 hours, and my vision is very blurry. Not worth it, as any nerve pain that I have isn't painful just uncomfortable, not worth the side effects of this tablet, the doctor can keep it and take it herself, lol

If you can manage the pain, no reason to be on it. Most of the side effects wear of after a coulple of weeks. Plus mixing alcohol with it makes the effects worse. Glad you don't need it Butiki, I forgot to mention the sexual side effects I experiance as well. Drive on Mate.....

Well since I seem to be the forum junkie, I'd thought I'd share some info. I was put on a Predizone Pak last week for a problem with my right foot. My doctor (nurse practiceoner) thought she'd put me on Balcfolen, my spelling sucks today.I blame it on the drugs. I've read that it causes muscle weakness, so I asked her what else she had in her magic bag. I work fairly hard at staying in shape so I didn't want any muscle loss. Anyway, she offered the pred pak, I was reluctant but I couldn't walk so down the hatch. It's helped, but what I noticed fairly quickly is that it seem to interfere with the Lyrica, I been having more shocks lately, one episode for about 14hrs. Nothing like the old days before Lyrica, but no fun. So I can't prove if the Predizone effects the Lyrica or not, just thought it may be a possibility.
So in short- I think the Pred is effecting the Lyrica.
