The little $35.00 zapper that I thought was 'underpowered'...turns out to be really good at helping me get a good night's sleep. It just so happened that I'd been wanting pain relief the night that I first tried it out, rather than sleep. So I hadn't appreciated it for its best quality.
Ok, so today I've had a LOT of backpain, all day. I used my expensive zapper early this morning, and it helped, as always...but the pain came back, as it does eventually when something is really wrong. Then, I decided to give the little $35.00 zapper from ctbusters.com a try. And it worked! Yes, but of course, as expected, a couple of hours later the pain came back. Like I said, I had a LOT of pain. The point of this little rambling (which would otherwise qualify for the Boring Thread) is that I now LIKE my cheap, little zapper. It's only 2 1/4" x 1 3/4" x 1", with no extra wires or handholds. I put on a glove, moisten my palm, and slip the zapper into my glove, with the two, penny-sized leads against my palm, and switch it 'on'. I wore it for about 20 minutes, until the pain subsided. I also felt slightly sleepy after those 20 minutes. If I didn't have more things to do before bedtime, I'd have gone on to bed.
I'm glad the little zapper worked because it's what I'm packing in my 'lockbox' for taking to the hospital with me if (or when) I ever have to go. And I've included an extra 9 volt battery. I don't want to be without it. My zapper that cost almost $300.00 has more settings and functions. I'll leave it at home, where, I hope, it will be safer than at a hospital.
TJ, I've used them since the year 2000. I made the first two myself, following the free diagram that was in Hulda Clark's book. Do you know why she gave the diagram, parts list, and instructions away for "free"? ...because, if she had patented it, it could have been condemned as "ineffective" or "harmful" and locked away forever (or as close to forever as "authority-possible"). Smart lady. Loving lady. It's just wonderful for pain, especially when you're feeling so bad that you can't even figure out what's wrong with you.
...also for colds, cold sores, food poisoning, headaches (which is redundant, because I already said 'pain').
That's my point exactly. And with SCI, we don't have available to us the normal feedback from our brian to help us diagnose "what's wrong". Another good thing about a zapper is that you don't have to wait to use it, the way we have to be careful not to take pain pills too close together. If I weren't still struggling to get my house "accessible", I would just love to put together a few zappers from ccomponents. As I,ve said, I have one zapper that cost almost $300 (with multiple functions and timer, from drclarkstore) and another one that cost $35 (basic, lower frequencies,no timer, from ctbusters). They both work.
