Tomorrow I am starting a special detox diet. I have actually committed to this for the next four months. The basis of the diet is zero processed foods, no additives at all simply home cooked foods with no potatoes, no bread ( no gluten) no cereal, no crisps, no pasta etc but that's just to give you an idea.
The healthy eating involves eating any meats, butter, greek yogurt, eggs, basmati rice, fresh vegetables and fruit and 3 capsules a day that include at least 20 fruits, veggies, berries and grains in each one.
Im also going to drink the water first thing too.
Ive heard this detox and diet is great for bowels and other issues. Its also backed up with lots of medical research. Anyways, il keep you updated on progress/benefits!
The downside is that i have to do twice as much cooking and cant eat macdonalds breakfast on a saturday oh and i may even be breaking a world record for voiding!
On the plus side, this lifestyle eating is very easy on the bowels, which i hoped it would be. I eat zero sugar, additives or lactose, gluten and no processed foods at all.
I would recommend this way of eating for anyone with bowel issues.
To be honest, everything is natural and healthy. Im not allowed potatoes but can eat sweet potatoes and found that i love them!
Anyways, il keep updating. This eating plan is also meant to help the muscles and other functions. I take 6 capsules of natural supplements daily also, which have every vitamin, fruit extracts and other essentials like folic acid so im looking forward to seeing the health benefits
I have been on this for one week now and I dont get that awful bloated feeling anymore and i am feeling confident to reduce my senna, but its going to be very gradual.
I dont expect to not need to continue it but along with other meds 60ml's of senna seems way too much!
Lara. This sounds AMAZZZZING and so 😀to hear you are doing so very well !!! Please can u tell me more about what u eat and the vitamins u take so I can try this eating. I eat very carefully but am constantly bloated and uncomfortable so now I hardly eat. Think I should try your plan 💕💕💕tx for sharing. Soozi

I think it’s a good call for beginning a detox diet. It will surely help your bowel health. Sometimes it’s good to take a break from an unhealthy lifestyle.
