Hey there guys, im just wondering if you are experiencing this. I have found that over time, my legs seem a more jumpy and twitchy when im inactive. They may do it other times but I just dont notice.
I often think that they go off on their own tangent now and then for a few days although the latest right leg jump is still there lol
It isnt painful, in fact, as weird as it may sound, it actually amuses me lol But seriously, the nerve pain and twitches etc have definitely increased.

I'm glad I turned into this thread Laramie. I need to report my face twitching to my doctor. Only happens right before I sleep. New are increased jolts followed by numbing in the arms and hands. I don't know what it means. Am I getting better and these are the brain do a spot checks or a sign the condition is getting worse? Recently I was diagnosed adrenal insufficiently. My adrenal fatigue is attributed to all the shock my body has been through (spasticity and drugs). They are supplementing but it only works on the day to day, not if I'm stressed. I have a bladder infection and sure enough my blood pressure plummeted...because my body can't raise cordisol on it's own. I'm calling the doctor to see if they can give me a self guided road map. I already know to drop my blood pressure med, and took an extra dose of cordisol but don't know if I do both and how long. Lara, have you had the twitching all along or is this new?
fishkybizniz it'd definitely be a good idea to find out from the doctor what the cause of that could be. Also, bladder infections suck! Hope you can get rid of it quick

You got that right DJ.,Nerogenic bladder infections are in a league of their own. They really set me back. I'm so wiped I can't get air to talk and all I can do to eat. It's the low blood pressure. I'm 85/53...but the pulse rate of 84. Right now I should be hanging upside down like a bat. ***humph!***
fishkybizniz, i seem to develop new twitches all the time, its very annoying. I am lower motor neurone, so technically speaking, in respect of spasticity, i should not have spasms but I think that this needs to be re thought by the medical profession.

You're right! The medical professionals haven't really defined the collateral damage that comes with a spinal cord injury. I don't know anything about medical research, but I do know my cousin's daughter works in medical research and far ahead of anything tangible to us now. I'm going to ask if she can find out where they are and how soon we could see it offered to the public. It's not a straight line in research. Some of her work is estimated to be used 25yrs from now. I would love to see a balance between modern medicine and Nature's medicine. I noticed Dr. Oz is working on that through his TV show. He recommends "Natural remedies" if researchers can confirm to their effectiveness. Now that I've said this, couldn't hurt to search his website and see if any of his shows have addressed spinal cord injuries.
