WEDNESDAY JNE 22 AFTERNOON...STLL WATNG!...apparently it's cleared customs and U I should get it by end of day...Can't say enough about DHL tracking but it highlights the problem we have here with a time delaying overzealous customs service...having said that I'll now see 30% duty slapped on before deliviery...oh synical me...

Hi to anyone who can help, especially in the U.K. Any advice on purchasing a wheelchair? I want something light, easy to fold, with handles so I can walk whilst pushing it. When I'm tired and/or unable to walk, I can be pushed if needed. Hopefully I'll be able to self propel a bit but have never tried, so a whole new world beckons.

Sniffer has the hospital not given you info for a wheelchair assessment. Someone should be giving you some chairs and cushions to try. Also it helps us if we know your injury level and male or female. It does make a big difference in advice. Just fill in a bit more in your profile. Country also, you will see things vary on that also. Hang in there, you will learn.
