I recently settled on my medmal case. The surgeon also has 3 more cases against him that are going to trial. We decided to settle because it would have cost more to go to trial and probably would have ended up getting the same amount. The surgeon is now being investigated and is on probation with the Medical Board. The hospital here is still allowing him to practice. I am on a mission to get him out! I had a wonderful lawyer and it took about a year to complete the case.

I settled out of Court too but it dosent seem to satisfy the negligence and the paractitioners still continue their work. All the best with it, its good to hear you were awarded payment and I hope you manage to stop him practicing.
