My uncle was paralyzed almost 5 years by a surgeons mistake. It's destroyed his spirit, his life, and our family. I'm looking to communicate with others outside our family circle who can relate and help me through these times.
Hey rbeyor and welcome, all I can say my friend is that's it's not easy in the beginning but it does get easier as time goes on. Can you tell us a bit more such as his level of injury and his age, that would help us help you and him.
I was about to post a response, but I see that rbeyor, the original poster, has not logged in or posted again after starting this Thread, and that that was almost six months ago. So, I won't add any thoughts or questions myself. But if rbeyor ever looks in on this Thread again, he/she will see a community ready and willing to give whatever is possible toward supporting and informing others in time of need.

Was about to comment and read Vintage's response. Wonder what happened?!
