I kinda figure you'd get hit with that when you said you didn't vote Sam. I'm glad you posted about how you see things as a Trump supporter, if not a Trump voter. Your not alone, about half of eligible voters made it to a booth. That in my opinion is a huge fail. We have got to hold these cornballs responsible and the only way to do that is vote. We the people have become complacent over the years and have the false belief that all is well or it doesn't matter if I vote or not. If the Trump presidency did anything positive it's waking people the hell up. I like the idea of draining the swamp Sam, but were up to our eyeballs in it now, and it smells.
I think your a good guy Sam, your politics don't change that. If you put time in and researched these folks you'll be able to make a better informed choice next time, if you decide to vote I rather have you vote for Trump than not at all.
It is a voluntary duty. Without massive participation in voting democracy becomes a shell game controlled by small groups that are either wealthy, fanatical, corrupt, or all of those. I agree that the system is utterly broken on all levels, but voting is my way of saying I have done what little I can.

voting for the best candidate available is a waste of time in my opinion. spending hours researching candidates and their beliefs doesn't usually fit my time schedule so I wont do it because no one man can change anything in this corrupt government political system. money is the root of all evil and that is what drives most politicians. I don't think trump will be able to change much but maybe? change some things for the better. If he only makes the economy better he will be a successful president imho.
