I like the concept but the article says the car will only travel at 25mph, so it might be a bit limiting for $25,000. A fold down seat in the back might also be nice, incase you wanted to give someone a ride.
That can would work very well for me. I used to drive everywhere. It happens that I live one block from a main highway. With that car I could go out to eat, buy groceries, get prescriptions, and even go to the doctor. He's a mile down the road.
I can see where it would be a plus for those of us who live in the city and have are needs met close to where we live. The price is a bit steep I would say. Many of us are on very limited incomes.

A power chair will do the same thing for you, a little slower, but if you wait Medicare will buy it. Hopefully.

I agree the speed seems slow. Maybe it's electric? I like the basic idea, may need some tweaking. It would have to go at least 45mph for starters. The price seems high, that would have to come down. This would make a great tech school project.
I like that it protects the driver from the elements...rain, wind, hot sun, a sudden sleet storm. This is an advantage that it has over an electronic wheelchair. Just because it's nice outside when I leave for the grocery store doesn't mean that it will stay that way until I get home.

this would be perfect for me. to bad because of my disability so far my credit sucks(about 520) and I live on a very tight budget. so why pipe dream. my power wheelchair does about 10 mph so it is sufficient and I live 1 mile from grocery store and cannabis dispensary and usually sunny and warm. would love to have though.
