One of the things to bear in mind about CBD is that (at least in the US) it’s basically unregulated. The clinical research - and there is real, credible research on cannabis and cannabinoids- has mostly taken place in the Netherlands and Israel. You need to experiment to find out what will work best for your daughter - indica, sativa, CBD:THC ratios - and that’s tricky to do without an ethical provider that at the very least gives you a report on those things for products you try.
Hi there, I am new to this forum...my daughter who is 18 had a sci 3 years ago and is really struggling with medication, spasm, pain balance. We are considering using CBD oil instead of all the heavy pain and spasm meds she is on. We have used the low strain stuff we can get from herbal shop (as we are in UK) I was wandering if there is anyone in the UK who knows how I can seek out which CBD to buy from overseas. Don't want to head to the Internet and buy the wrong thing. Any advice would be very appreciated.
I know someone in ireland who sells it and has great reviews, I have been recently in touch with him so I will get his information and send it to you later today. He also sells arthritis cream that is meant to be very good too which may be useful.
Have you heard on the news that doctors are now going to be able to prescribe cannabis based medicine such as CBD oil from 1st of November in the UK?
In a written statement to parliament, Javid said: “I have been clear that my intention was always to ensure that patients have access to the most appropriate course of medical treatment.
The regulations allow three access routes for the order, supply and use of cannabis-derived products by patients: a special medicinal product for use in accordance with a prescription or direction of a doctor, an investigational medicinal product without marketing authorisation for use in a clinical trial, or a medicinal product with a marketing authorisation.

Ever feel like dying, ever feel alone, Ever feel like cryin', lost child in a store, Ever feel life pushing, shoving you away, Ever feel like breaking down, funeral in the rain Feel like slipping away

Firstly,be sure you don't buy hemp. It comes from a bamboo plant with no medical properties like cannibus. Secondly, if you need calming pain relief try indica THC. CBD is neutral, the goal there is strength & freshness. Try it when you don't have responsibility (child, driving, work) because it can make you sleepy. Indica is very relaxing. Beware of blends, as some use stevia. Stevia is a stimulating THC. It doesn't calm my spasticity and my brain is non stop flight of ideas. The Dosist Calm formula pen works for me, but the sleep formula is stimulating. Just what I don't need at bedtime, a roaring case of spasticity and brain insomnia. Science has isolated the canabinoids helping you understand where the best attributes are for you. Beware of sales associates. Some are really good and some are learning, and you end up wasting your money. About black market. Recreational users buy depending on taxes. In Colorado recreational & medical users go to the pharmacies. In California the state got too greedy on taxes, so the recreational users are going back to black market, however the taxes are worth it for medical users because the labatory testing & disclosure mandates are geared to be FDA compliant.
Havent tried CDB oils (have tried other oils, panic attack city!) but i have tried this strain of bud (LINK. Very high CBD very low THC. I took a solid bong hit and almost instantly I felt more relaxed. I dont usually notice but my shoulders, neck, chest even my arms and legs tense up alot of the time due to my anxiety (which in turn causes fatigue and other problems). But when I smoked this my whole body calmed down and in turn my mind did as well it was so amazing I felt tears coming on i rarely feel at peace like I did. I drive 2 hours to stock up on this stuff ha. Try it out

Excuse me,fishkybizniz. Were you meaning to say “satvia” rather than “stevia?

I'm one of the few to get Adrenal Insufficiency from Gabapentin. Weaned to 900 mg. I tried going lower & took a month getting better. During that pain window CBD pick up didn't work. I thought it would work being an anti seizure. Maybe where each of us are in the pain dept. CBD (88%) and indica THC (12%) helps cool my jets.
