Hello everyone. I have battled towards recovery from my spinal cord injury for just over five years. I am still making gains, by which I am thankful that God has given me the ability to continue my fight. During this fight, nerve pain seems to be a constant companion when I’m out and about. The best thing that has helped combat my pain is an ACUPRESSURE MATT. Check the internet for more details as there are different ones to choose from. This mat cost me around $40. It has provided better pain relief then any prescribed medications by which I no longer take. I realize that all of us have different levels of mobility and pain so it may not be practical for everyone. I am able to lay on the ground using the mat alone without much problem, howeve I believe many could put the mat on their beds to get the same effect. I lay on this mat up to one hour and it helps my pain immensely.
Thankyou for sharing your experience victory, it sounds interesting and it's great to hear that it helps to give you some relief. We have a thread on natural pain relief also for anyone who would like to take a look

What works for one may not work for another...but I also had help with an acupressure mat....several years ago I had an increase in tone in my legs which interfered with sleeping. Laying on the mat with the bare skin on my back caused my brain to concentrate on my back and not my legs....it worked and the increase in tone gradually went away.
Oh, sorry to hear about that. But also a good news that you have recovered already. Anyways, I'm also looking for a supplement to recover my back pain. I have heard about Kratom Powder. How much helpful is this? Does anyone try this kind of powder yet to recover pain?
Check with vintage she uses kratom, I use essential oil with pretty good relief of pain. My only lingering issue is just a constant ache in my hips. Never seem to be able to stretch them enough. I work a 40 plus hour week.
...yes, Kratom, maeng da strain. It is outlawed in some countries and in a few of the U.S. states. It is legal to obtain in Texas, though not approved for ingestion. I take a half teaspoon with water or juice. It kills pain, relieves spasms, and makes me not notice neuropathy pain for about three hours. That is often enough relief so that I can wash a few dishes, see a tv show, and get to bed.
