Troy, I know that many SCI folks have a suprapubic and are grateful for it. I don’t have one and I’m hoping not to have one for as long as possible. However, maybe a month ago, I must have leaned over and pushed slightly too hard for how full my bladder was at the time and caused myself some damage. Actually, a horrible nurse initiated the damage three years ago in the hospital by not wanting to cath me and making me wait too long. Anyway, when I got the bad pain in my left kidney a while back, I drank kidney herbs as a tea to dissolve any debris. Marshmallow root, gravel root, and hydrangea root. (Google it.) There is also a wonderful remedy called Renatrophin made by Standard Process of Milwaukee Wisconsin. I took it many years ago. It’s like it “rebuilds” your kidneys. However, it is now too expensive for me to buy it for myself. But in case you can afford it for yourself, I wanted to tell you about it. www.standardprocess.com/Products/Standard-Process/Renatrophin-PMG#.WrraqcpOmf0
