I saw this video a few days before articles came out about it. I think the bikers were wrong for harassing the occupants of the SUV and clearly the driver panicked when he saw that himself and his family was in danger. It's unfortunate about the biker though, no one deserves that happening no matter what they do but in my option, the bikers were at fault.
The bizarre confrontation between a group of bikers and an SUV driver in New York has resulted in serious injuries for one man who may be paralyzed from the waist down for the rest of his life.
Edwin Mieses, 32, was one of about two dozen bikers who were travelling to a massive biker rally in Times Square on Sunday. He is in critical condition at St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital after being run over by the panicked driver of an SUV who was later chased down and beaten by the other members of the Hollywood Stuntz bike crew.
Such a shame this happened but i can understand why the driver panicked.....it would be interesting to see what happened before the driver was initially stopped
I agree Lαrα, it's hard to tell what happend prior to the start of the video but apparently they just surrounded the SUV and tried slowing it down to make space on the highway/freeway/motorway so they could do some stunts
Just not sure why no one thought to call the police when a biker got run over. Now multiple people are going to face charges, when one of the 30 people could have just called the cops and given them the SUVs license plate number.

This was a horrible occurrence. But the driver of the car had no intention of hurting people. He was just trying to get himself and his family to safety.

I think the police was called but didn't get there in time. Definitely not a cool move by the bikers though.

Biker doesn’t blame SUV driver who left him paralyzed
A motorcyclist run over by an SUV fleeing a biker gang doesn’t blame the driver who left him permanently paralyzed.
Edwin Mieses, 32, said on the “Today” show Wednesday that there’s no way for him to know exactly what was going through Alexian Lien’s head as the swarm of bikers surrounded the Range Rover with Lien’s wife and 2-year-old daughter in the passenger seats.
“I don’t blame him,” said Mieses.
“At the end of the day, I’m not him to know what was going through his mind.”
Mieses suffered nine broken ribs, a severed spine and a torn aorta when Lien, 33, drove the SUV over him on a sunny September day on the Henry Hudson Parkway last year.
Doctors told him it’s 99.9% likely he’ll never walk again.
I object to calling these twats bikers - they are power rangers ( squids ) . . . any true biker wouldn't be riding in such an undisciplined manner - ever seen a pack rideout?
