Here is something that may interest many of you: the NeoMano assistive glove. I have been following it since the first prototype appeared at a university in Korea several years ago. Now they are ready for production, and are raising funds on Indiegogo. This is a game changer for quadriplegics like me. I hope lots of people get behind the campaign so that soon we can enjoy being able to be a little more independent!
midtoad, great post. I have normal hand function, but I would want everyone without normal hand and finger function to have assistance with a device such as this one. Often, solutions such as this could have been developed much earlier than now. Development does cost money and require brains, but I suspect that the patenting and approval process itself has been one of the biggest hurdles to gettng these devices on the market.
I clicked on the picture in you post, and that took me to the website where I watched a short video.
