outlier, are you ok? What do you mean by the topic heading "I'm going in"? I fully agree with you that I'd never wish this on anyone.... mind you, there was murder case over here in Aus. a few years ago where a man killed his girlfriend after she broke up with him, he then turned the knife on himself and caused his own high level quadriplegia.... in that case, living in that body for the rest of his life I think is pretty well deserved in my opinion. www.abc.net.au/news/2016-12-02/michael-james-quinn-sentenced-for-cherie-vize-murder/8088346

"I'm going in?" Am I missing something here? Is this some kind of cryptic clue? "It's been fun. I wouldn't wish this on anyone ..." Sounds incredibly bleak to me, bleak, cynical and dark. I guess your intention was to worry us all, Outlier. Are you having joke? Or is this a deadly serious and yet mysterious way of saying you've had enough of spinal injury and you are going to end it all? Whatever, it has provoked a few anguished posts that have gotten nowhere.

Outlier sometimes gets disoriented when her condition is at its worst. i don't think intention has much to do with her post. Jusst a mind screaming down bleak corridors. It can happen to any of us when we are in enough pain and alone.

Yes, thank you. You never know how long it will be and I tend to worry about people who have not posted. So, yes, cryptic, just to let you know. At least you know. So far I've taken about 1/2 of my function away. C'est la vie. Good news. It's over. So back to rehabilitation...been down that road... Point, I MADE IT OUT ALIVE. I was really bad (I''m still disoriented). But I can function!!!!!
Sorry, Tetra is right. A million things went through my head but the first thing was to communicate with people. -- sorry, you are part of family

Out- Agreed. On some good level we are family-of-choice.
I step in the water, but the water has moved on...
