Curious about how you guys travel. About a year and a half ago I went to Germany and I had so much trouble fitting in restrooms. I intermittent cath and it was almost impossible for me to use the restroom which either resulted in me avoiding all fluids (including beer/wine 😭) or having an accident because I couldn't get to a restroom in time. As a woman in her 20's, this was so humiliating and made me afraid to travel. Also, what do you do when you need to use the restroom on an airplane?
what i do on a trip like that is have a foley catheter put in and attach it to a urinary leg bag. problem solved drink away. any more questions pm me glad to share tips with fellow travellers
what parts did you exactly visit when in Germany? I didn't have any trouble getting to the restrooms I found on the go, most of them were very very spacious. I do know that not every place is kind of adapted for us and it sucks but, at least in my experience Germany turned out to be very accessible overall.
I'm also on my 20s and when I go out I use a bag, same for airplanes.

Please don't be afraid of traveling!
Well my family is from Heidelberg, so most of my time was spent there. It is a town with very old buildings, so maybe that was the issue? I did the leg bag for the plane ride, but 90% of the clothing I wear wouldn't hide a leg bag. Where did you travel in Germany?

On my travel to Spain, my friend ensures that aircraft should contain more than one aisle in which lavatories are provided. Her wife was in a wheelchair. So, if you are traveling make sure that plane carries a small collapsible wheelchair designed to fit in the aisle. The flight attendants will assist.
