Ovarian cancer ranks fifth among the most-common cause of cancer-related death among U.S. women.
According to the research conducted by Moffitt Cancer Center and Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, women who have the indications and symptoms of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) are at greater risk of contracting ovarian cancer than women who had no PTSD symptoms. Studies conducted on mice show stress and stress hormones can accelerate ovarian tumor swelling, chronic stress can be a cause behind the larger and more invasive tumors.
I think this Thread should go under “treatment-cure-research-info-news”,...not under Spinal cord injury discussions.
People seem to arrive at this forum, click on the first available link on the site, and “post”! If you look through the other Threads started at this “top” spot on the forum, you’ll see it is being used like a place to take off your shoes when you first get home and walk through the door. Just throw them “any old where”.

Thats an interesting article robertreny, if only we could all just turn off the 'stress' button! The more research done into anything to do with SCI's is a good thing
