Hi Out I know you have had some extra challenges recently - is this procedure being proposed for you? Sorry - I know this doesn't answer your question - just wondering how you are doing. Hopefully someone more helpful than me will be along soon.

No, it is for my Dad. I'm trying to get him on forums to get health advice. Yes, I've been having autoimmunity for about 2 months -- very painful but I think it is on the mend. Not out yet but hopeful. How are You?
If you are asking about spinal cord stimulation for pain I have one implanted. It's a Nevro high frequency stim I don't feel any buzzing or tingling sensation with it on. I have to charge up once a day. I have a charger plugged in to the wall socket which I unplug and slip the pad attached to it down the back of my underwear over where the implant battery is. I switch on and it somehow passes the electricity thru my skin into the implant and re charges it. Takes about an hour. I have a remote control to change frequency and power. Does it work. Not that great to be honest but is some help.

Glad there is some improvement Out. Hopeful is good. I am fine and Peter is going through a nice stable phase. He is finding somatic movement therapy useful (series of specific and slowly executed movement techniques that teach you how to release and relax the muscles) which is helping. It's not a quick fix but helps him to release his tight muscles for a while. The big challenge is for him to get them to stay that way! Glad things going in the right direction - good luck with finding something that helps your Dad.
