I didn't write it. Just copied and pasted off www.leafly.com there are many product descriptions and user reviews there. I enjoy the user reviews they can be a hoot because for the most part they were written by a person that was high at the time just like I am now.
Forbidden Fruit Herbal Peppery Citrus Forbidden Fruit is the mouthwatering cross of Cherry Pie x Tangie. This sumptuous genetic cross expresses a beautiful dense bud structure with deep purple hues, dark green foliage, and wiry orange hairs. The terpene profile is a perfect mixture of Cherry Pie’s musky, sweet cherry undertones and Tangie’s loud tropical flavors. There are also notes of pine, mango, and passionfruit candy. The effects hit hard between the eyes and lay into the body with each hit. Forbidden Fruit’s deep physical relaxation and mental stoniness make it perfect for dulling minor physical discomfort and discarding stress.
Thank you. Again - can almost smell it from here. I am saving these weed reviews up and will read them aloud in my best reading aloud voice to Peter when he feels the need of something to relax him

A new one to add to my list.
Blueberry Headband
This strain is exactly what its name suggests, a direct descendant of Blueberry & Headband. Both are extremely popular choices in their own way. This strain combats nausea, chronic pain, anxiety, and depression. The effects are a combination of both physical & mental, suggesting a balanced hybrid. The high is calming and euphoric, and boost energy, creativity, and happiness. Blueberry Headband produces an earthy lemon aroma with a sweet flavor of blueberries. The look impresses with dense buds that are a vibrant shade of yellow-green threaded through with yellowish pistils.

My friend started with weed, for medical purposes of course, and ended up with ecstasy and this stuff is definitely more serious than marijuana. I don't know, it's too controversial. addictionresource.com/addiction-and-rehab-hotlines/vermont-numbers/ there are statistics on this site if you're interested. It would be interesting to discuss.
proof that weed is the best medicine: My Mom is 78 yrs old and has always been a church going woman, does edibles now to help her sleep, and it works very well for her, she loves it now and recommends to everyone. weed truly is a wonderful drug.
Sam, I need to start my own thread entitled. Kratom is the second-best medicine. Where marijuana is illegal (and its possession is severely punishable) there is still good ol' unregulated Kratom. Green Maeng Da strain, if it's your first time to buy and can't decide which to choose.

Today's review is on Viper Kush.
Very strong, cerebral buzz. Mind erasing, stress relieving. Buzz slowly encompasses the body creating a full body relaxing experience. I've heard people say viper will burn you out but honestly I believe the high is meant to start of soaring and energetic. If you can handle sativas this one is great for treating symptoms of anxiety and depression. I really wish there were more of these amazing landrace crosses available at large. One of my fave sativas for an upbeat, long lasting cerebral buzz

need to try, havent had much success at finding a good sativa strain, one negative aspect imho of cannabis is i'm always tired, would love to feel energetic some days.
I am a fairly regular recreational user, have been for long since before my SCI, but it does nothing good for my pains. It increases my neuro pain from minor tingling to major burning for the first hour or so and after about 3 hours, as it's fading, my spasticity noticeably increases. That's mostly sativa strains though. I enjoy it for the high (especially when writing or playing guitar or drawing) and it does sometimes help me care less about the pain even when it's worse. I guess that's a form of pain management. Indica strains tend to just wipe me out, and also inhibit my ability to get to deep sleep cycles. I'm too busy to be so tired and sedated very often but do enjoy it from time to time when I just want to be a lump on the couch for a spell. I definitely think everyone should try it but I wouldn't go so far as to call it the best medicine. It certainly has a place among them though.

I made the statement "weed is the best medicine" because it does so much for me. For me it is nothing short of a miracle drug. I understand we are all different some complete some incomplete. For me as a 41 yr quad, complete C6/7, it takes my spasms away in the stomach and legs with one puff, relieves stress, anxiety, depression, keeps my appetite up, I sleep hard, and my mood is pleasant when I'm on it. My doc is more than happy to prescribe a baclofen pump but you develop a tolerance to it and need more to get a result, vicodin for my shoulder pain, any anti-depression opioid I want. I don't want any of that crap in my system.
new thread title: "weed is the best medicine for some of us". i feel the same as softballdad, it does so much for me also, dont do any pharma drugs because of weed.
I understand that. But, just to be fair, weed tolerance also develops over time and smoking is well proven to cause cancer and kill people, even more so when unfiltered. It has also been shown in studies to profoundly suppress sleep cycles with chronic use. There are no free lunches. Smoking is deadly and very polluting of the body.
