Actually I went to see a physiotherapist yesterday regarding my sit ski/monoski accident a month ago that is still preventing me from doing my regular activities and work. I won't continue with her after that's settled though because I believe she only works with people with injuries.
Since my return from Journey Forward in Boston, I have hired a kinesiologist to work with me at our local university gym that is open to the public also. I joined up there because they have an agreement with the rehab and my subscription is a fraction of what it would normally cost an able bodied person. I got special permission for her to come help me as she isn't a member of that gym. I also like that they have very flexible opening hours in stark contrast with the local rehab centre. They also don't have the equipment I would like them to have. Like: total gym, scifit hand cycle, and a power plate.
I bought the easy stand glider (that I don't use as much as I should) and the total gym that I haven't used yet due to my ski injury.
