Check out Great compression hose and socks of every kind, and their own brand is good value. I wear AW16, lightweight moderate (15-20) compression with very soft toes and heels, but great support around arch and graduated up leg. Then I wear synthetic diabetic sock over it. For added warmth, I wear Neos overshoes which fit easily over my shoes which are not changeable because of braces, and not especially warm. Neos makes all level of warmth--pricey, but very durable and keeping feet warm is critical to avoid spasms for me.
