I went to china in 06' for adult stem treatment. I can honestly say I had some immediate return, some hot and cold sensation, some motor in my left hand. Plus I didn't get as much as a cold for several years after, big boost to my immune system. Was it a total scam, no. I saw it work for others who received regular treatments. Above all it was a phenomenal trip. China (as a westerner) was an amazing place. Good life experience.
That being said, my suggestion for everyone else is to wait until more definitive medicine is available. Or until I build an iron man suit.

Its great to hear from your perspective and experience limitless... ...Excellent news that you had some return of function...can i ask was the trip self funded and is it very expensive and do you have to fit a criteria to be accepted?
Excellent info limitless, thanks for sharing! It's the best when you know first hand what the results of the treatment were and the results appeared to be good! That definitely gives me more hope for stem cell treatment
I had a stem cell treatment in Phoenix just before Christmas when my injury was at four months. Cost was $12,500. Before the treatment I felt my recovery had plateaued. I feel like I am slowly improving but I can't say it is because of the treatment. I don't feel like I was duped.

Hello dlevy,
Can you tell us what kind of stem cells, how have they administrated the cells to you, any docotor name/hospital?
They separated the stem cells from my fat. I'm only 120 lbs so they got the fat from my inner thighs. I was conscious through the whole process. The worst part was lipo - not that it hurt but is gruesome. Once the got the fat out they processed it for about an hour. I then had three injections in my spine and then the rest was given via IV. Total time was about 5 hours. The next day I flew home commercially back to Louisiana with no problems. Did it three weeks ago, Dec 23rd. Did it help? Don't know. I can consciously contract my quads now but no strength yet.
dlevy, i wonder if improvements are going to be difficult to establish if the stem cells are effective or in fact the nerve regeneration is the factor because you are still within the timeframe of healing and regenerating.
Sometimes it is difficult to notice improvements when nerve regeneration progresses at such a slow rate
It will be great if the stem cell treatment adds to return of function
