Here in the UK grants are available for those who need adaptations made to their home. This can be anything from wet rooms, widening doorways, kitchen adaptions etc.
For us it tends to be income based...so if you are on a low income the full grant would most probably be given. The adaptations that can be done will depend on the costs as the amount of the grant is capped at a figure.
In England the maximum grant amount is £30,000 and it varies slightly in Wales, Ireland and Scotland (regions within the UK)
Im curious the system works for other members in different countries and what their government provides...
