Medical Cannabis is still against the law here in Australia. Not that I would use it myself, no need too, I feel very strongly that it should be available to those who need it for pain. I found this website that discusses the use of Cannabis here in Australia.
Scientific matters can only be clarified by prolonged, faithful bona fide observations in friendly exchange of opinion, never by imprisonment. A person's right to know, to learn, to inquire, to make bona fide errors, to investigate must, by all means, be safe, if the word FREEDOM should ever be more than an empty political slogan.
I feel that Cannabis could really help people with there pain and suffering, but here you risk fines and the possibility of a prison sentence.

Medical Cannabis patients will continue to be criminalised until the State and Federal Governments take responsibility for their Duty Of Care.
I can't believe it's not even allowed for medical reasons there Butiki! I do hope they change that one day just for the sake of the people that's really need it!
