I just stumbled across this article and found it very interesting! Have a read for yourself
NEW YORK – Medical News – What is your favourite M&M’s colour? While that might sound like a strange question, especially if you are looking for solutions for spinal cord injuries, it is not.
There is something, apparently, according to research from the University of Rochester about the compound Brilliant Blue G that is used in blue peanut M&M candy.
The BBG according to findings from the research, blocks a chemical that kills healthy spinal cord cells around damaged areas in spinal injuries.
That is, according to medical experts, an event that often causes more irreversible damage than the original injury.
BBG not only reduced the size of the lesion but also improved the recovery of motor skills, tests on laboratory rats demonstrated.
Could this be competition for Wise Young's steroid treatment? (which doesn't work well anyway)
And those steroid treatments came to be in the early 1990's
We really haven't progressed further since then, other than a lot of broken promises and hype being thrown around here and there
and yet the community remains complacent and people like me are seen as lazy big mouths, trouble makers and even called trolls.
Since the introduction of steroid treatment we have gone through 5 of those the cure will be here in another 5 years........................
............and I was told right here if I have a problem with Acorda's relationship with a advocacy group I should call them instead of bringing it to the attention of members here.

There's no competition bob, everyone's working towards finding a cure and that's that. At least Wise is doing something and trying to find a cure. Feel free to say whatever you want about others when you find a cure

Wise is trying to find a cure? Or, is he just trying to get a treatment on the market whether it works or not?
He did that with steroids and he was involved with acorda and 4ap/ampyra which can't even beat a placebo, so his work doesn't impress me, nor does his current formulation show any real benefit, but I find it rather disturbing how many people with spinal cord injury are fooled by him and cling to the hype and hope he calls science.
