Tories' message on job creation for disabled features braille unreadable by the blind
An attempt by the Conservative Party to highlight job creation for disabled people fell flat when it sent out flyers with a message printed in braille lettering that cannot be read by the blind.
A ‘householder’ pamphlet sent out by Tory MPs boasted of the party’s success in enabling accessibility for disabled persons, but the Braille lettering was not raised on the page, rendering it useless to the visually impaired. (Source: Conservative Party of Canada)
