I'm very glad to see that the makers of The Freewheel have come up with the attachment for The Freewheel to be fitted to folding wheelchairs and not very expensive.
Congratulations to Pat and his team at The Freewheel.
Over the last 2 years Dougherty, with his twin brother Mike, have worked to design an easy-to-use product that will allow folding wheelchair users to go through grass, over curbs, down dirt trails, like their counterparts in rigid frame chairs. Testing by individuals and at trade shows over the last 18 months has resulted in the FreeWheel Folding Wheelchair Adaptor [patent pending], a product they can be proud of.
