Hi,I have just ordered a top end all terrain wheelchair, any feedback about this chair would be very much appreciated. I have a Tilite Areo Z 2 with a Freewheel, witch I love, but I think going bush will damage the tilite and even with the Freewheel the sand becomes a issue so if anyone has or has any knowledge about the all terrain please let me know.
Very exciting news! When you get to play in the bush, please update. I am thinking about getting a Freewheel for less adventuresome use, and just making longer distances out doors easier.
Hi, the freewheel is great, can't survive without it . I'm getting the top end all terrain because i'm into 4x4 driving and get to some pretty remote areas and very sandy and unfortunately the Tilite and Freewheel just don't cut it, and I think it would knock the Tilite around too much. But get the Freewheel best thing I ever got
I will give constant updates on my remote adventures and Top End all terrain updates
Just do it

I will be interested to see how this goes also. I have a stableyard and horses and going to horse shows is hard work with a regular chair over bumpy, sandy and heavy terrain. The updates will be great.
Butiki, for some reason I haven't seen this thread before! :ninja: I just checked out the Top End Crossfire, it looks pretty beast! Looks like it'd be great for some serious terrain and now that you've got your Pajero, you'll really be able to get off-road! As for the freewheel, I've heard many great reviews and I'm going to get one for casual outdoor wheeling
Aww really? I think I'm as excited for you to get it as you are! Guess what though wavewolf & Butiki, I currently have a freewheel on trial and I love it! I'm going to own one soon
I'm a bit pissed off, I rang the dealer today to find out how far away my chair is and nobody could tell me and the manager was " busy" so after waiting all day I rang the invacare Australian office in Sydney only to be told that they have not received the order for it yet . I have rang the dealer back 3 times this afternoon and still no answer from the manager. I have paid in full,$3500.00, and still not ordered, not a happy chappy today. I have already waited 6 weeks and invacare told me the delivery time from when they get the order will be about 8 weeks. Why do we get treated like this, is because we are disabled ??????
Butiki...i feel for you and understand 100% why you are angry and upset. To be honest it doesn't look like the dealership are not keeping to their contractual agreement.
At this point, has the order been placed now?
Here is the head office contact info for Invacare....if you are not satisfied you can go to the top and complain, they may do something about it sooner.. Invacare Corporation Worldwide Headquarters 1 Invacare Way Elyria, OH 44035-4190 Phone: (800) 333-6900 Fax: (877) 619-7996
Also here is a link to the consumer law in Australia, just in case you need to refer to it in your next conversation with the dealership
Im not sure if their lack of fulfilling the order as stated is due to a disability issue (unless they think disabled folks are naturally patient), the dealership may not be prompt at placing orders so disorganised ( best case scenario) or They may have cashflow issues..and your monies have gone into their cashflow 'pool' rather than paying for and placing the order for you (worst case scenario)
I would be asking for my money back if they do not place the order by the close of business today and then call the Australian office to confirm receipt of the order.
