Snow tires-- I need some! So far, I've only been able to find ideas for "lightly covered surfaces". I live in North Dakota, and the snow is here to stay. We've got a good 3-4 inches already, and it's still coming down! I have no grip whatsoever due to street tires and the cheapest handrims ever. (Don't worry, I'm getting Natural Fits soon.) I live alone, and don't want to give up any independence, so throw me some ideas guys!
Hi Knight, I have the surge push rims, love them, as for tyres all I can suggest is BMX tyres, I have Kenda BMX tyres on my all terrain chair, as having never seen snow let alone pushed a wheelchair through it, I really can't advise you. The tyres on my all terrain chair are excellent in sand if that helps.
Butiki, I checked out the Surge handrims and I don't see much difference between those and the Natural Fit (LT) ones, except for about $100! I am searching up tires now as I'm taking a break from my reading
Hey Knight, I don't think I'll need snow tires yet as I don't really wheel around much outside in the winter but I found this site when searching on google, I'm not sure if you saw this but here it is
Ok, so I want to order tires, but I need to know how to do sizes! So confusing! I have 26x1.75 tires right now. How do I know what size snow tires to get? How do I figure out rim size? I'm so confused!

I think you're going to have to purchase tires with the rim Knight
25'' sounds more like it Knight, i'm in the same boat as you mate, it's so confusing trying to buy something online and getting it right. What tyres did you end up going with ?
