Hey guys.....I am a member of a couple of facebook pages for spinal cord injuries and as i was reading posts on one of them i stopped at this photo below. Please spare a moment to think of the bravery of this man who suffered a Spinal Cord Injury but lost his life today after saving a little girl from drowning.

A truly remarkable guy...RIP

He died from complications from his injury,pneumonia and an infection DJ

Michael Patterson, a father, died in the early hours of Friday morning after contracting pneumonia and then an infection that left him unable to breath on his own.

Patterson held on for 20 days before succumbing and friends, family and strangers alike are paying tribute to the 'tremendous human being'
