Yea that one is no replacement for a wheelchair, its for transportation of able bodied people. I've seen it before and it balances itself like a segway, so I'm sure it will be a hit but NOT with disabled people. To get the segway to work for most disabilities it needs to be adapted, and there's way more to it physically than this thing
Edit:omg, the whill. I've seen that before and its so ridiculous. I don't think it will ever come to market. And its completely false that there are no options to turn a manual chair into a power chair, there are MANY power add on options! And every single one is so much better than that contraption.

Exactly and it looks like it'd cause a lot of back pain after a while for an able bodied person!
Lithium Iron batteries in any current power wheelchair would extend the miles per charge dramatically, and could last for up to 2000 charges and individual cells can be replaced when they go bad. With those batteries you would only need to charge the batteries once a week to once every 2 weeks.
Lithium Iron will be the next upgrade I do to my power wheelchair. Hell, if not for that chair I would not be able to do anything myself since Saturday.
