Are you aware that water is not only important for your bladder but also your bowels....and not just any water...Spring water is best. It is so important to keep your bowels well lubricated so they function better.
The more dehydrated you are...the more difficulty you are adding to your function and ability to have a bowel movement.
Other types of water can actually hinder bowel function! Tap water contains so many toxins that affect the digestive system. distilled and reverse osmosis water lacks the minerals for proper hydration, and bottled water is "dead" and contains xenoestrogens that complicate proper digestive function.
For the best results in ending constipation, use an approved spring for water so you have access to naturally mineralized and highly oxygenated water with the least amount of toxins as possible. A good secondary option is a good filtration system that puts minerals back in, or you simply add them back in through a good sea salt.
Of course for those with Spinal Cord Injury..it wont bring your function back to normal but it will help with the function of your bowels and assist with bowel health.
When I dive in the springs, I will often take my regulator out and drink the water...then the thought occurs, how many divers have peeed in their wetsuits
Lαrα, I read somewhere that drinking warm liquids at meals is best for keeping bowels moving. Also keeps fat from congealing, so it moves through and out. This is my practice now.

I have read too about warm water being helpful wavewolf..especially in the morning and with squeezed lemon. It helps the digestive system to keep things moving
Ideally you want to buy spring water rather than mineral water...this link looks at the difference....Spring water or mineral water
If you go to your store..check the label and be sure it is spring water that you are buying. Spring water comes from a natural supply and mineral water is often bought water that is bottled and then has minerals added to it.
Europedude..ive been reading about your lovely country and im sure you will be able to access some quality spring water....
Slovenia is one of the most water-rich countries in Europe. It has 27,000 km of rivers, streams and other watercourses. It also has numerous thermal springs and mineral springs, and a large number of aquifers.
