Hi everyone! Just thought I'd write a quick note about a Accessible Trip Experts.
This website is kind of like a YELP or TripAdvisor, but for wheelchair users. It allows you to RATE and write a review (just a couple of lines if you like) about virtually any location you visit; you can even add your own photos! Come check it out and give us some feedback!
Oh, and feel free to email us if you have any questions.

Hi delboy! How exciting that you're going to Europe!! Accessible Trip Experts is a brand new site, so we are currently looking for people like yourself to add reviews about the places they visit. Unfortunately, I haven't had anyone add any reviews on places in France.
Perhaps you could be the first one to add some reviews about locations in Marseilles! (they can be restaurants you go to, the hotels you stay in, shops you visit, etc...) They don't have to be long, just a couple of lines; you can even add some photos. Click on this link to see a good example of how the site can be used:
If we all do this, we can create not only a superb database on the accessibility of places, but also a platform which proves to the world that wheelchair users are CONSUMERS with spending power whose needs and wants need to be considered beyond what the law dictates (ie. ADA) IF they want our business.
I'm really interested in learning how your trip goes! Please let us know!
tks for your reply i will tell you about my trip. I can also tell you about Malta too, i know the island like the back of my hand, i have been chair bound for 3 years now so access is always an issue from now on.

That would be AWESOME!!!! I've actually been to Malta but I was a child back then (I grew up in Barcelona).
If you give me a list of some places you'd like to review, i'd be very happy to find the address and add the listing to the site so you can write a few lines about them!
I am from and live in Malta. I can offer any of your site members personal and direct info on all places, hotels and visiting sites in Malta on request as regards accessibility. not as a persron who has visited the place but as one that lives there BTW just curious, are you disabled too?

That's great delboy!
Usually what i do is wherever i go in Orlando (which is where I live), I take a few photos and then go on the site and write a couple lines. This can be a restaurant, a hair salon, a clothing store, etc...
I am disabled, but i have a neuromuscular disorder called Spinal Muscular Atrophy, not a spinal cord injury. The fabulous admins of this awesome forum allowed me to get on here and tell you guys about my website.
Oh sorry to hear this Diana. It is a pleasure to know you hopefully we can share experiences on this site and yours too, i take it you like to travel very nice indeed Yes i agree Lara and DJ are such wonderful people. I like their site so much i think i ve hijacked it lol
Naughty delboy..i knew you were a secret ninja.. ...lol
Diana I would like to start up a thread on this travel section for accessible places to visit in the way of the review style that would be helpful to your site and maybe you can add also.
Feel free to use any of the thread for your site ...im sure everyone will be happy for you to do this. Hopefully they will comment on your site also.
I will put a link on the thread to your site too..and we are very happy to have you Diana...
Yea, hats off Lara a great idea and very useful for the site. Sort of my build thread but it offers more to the SCI cause. 100% approval from this member. I think Diana will like it too.
