Rewalk goes public tonight on NASDAQ. They are going to use the proceeds (about $50 million) for production and sale of their exoskeleton. Price will be about $15/share. I do a little day trading and will give it a shot.
I have a request in for one with my insurance company. Cost is about $70k. It is FDA approved so you just need a letter from your doctor to submit to your insurance company.
Butiki, in my opinion, this is the first step in making them affordable. Technology is advancing so quickly! Drive assist cars will be hitting the market sooner than expected. I think that indicates to me that exoskeletons will become significantly more usable and priced lower quicker than we would think.
It may be a good investment..i imagine it will be very successful especially if they go about this the right way and get rehab centres involved. Thanks for sharing dlevy
The stock opened at $12/share and climbed to a high of about $30/share! That indicates to me that Wall Street thinks there is money to be made investing in exoskeletons. That's good for us. Now if only stem cell services would take off!
I think it's a good short term investment if you wanting to make a little bit of money as you mentioned but in my opinion it won't be long until demands for the product goes down.
Just an update on Rewalk stock. It closed today just under $37/share from an offering price of $12/share.
This is very significant in that Wall Street is considering SCI injury therapy a profitable investment! I think it only a matter of time before money floods into stem cell treatment therapies.

Maybe this is what has been needed dlevy..it could be a real breakthrough and have a very positive effect! Its real good news....It will certainly get people thinking
Lara, it's more about the money. The world revolves around money. Those that don't have a SCI have no motivation to be involved or help (I don't blame them that's just the reality). However, if fixing us becomes profitable I have no doubt that we will get fixed!
