I was thinking about this after reading another member's post about Fall in the USA..(we call it Autumn ). I have a 'tiled' driveway...and its an absolute nightmare at this time of year.

I have some real lovely trees in my side garden that overlook my driveway and at this time of year the leaves drop from the trees and onto the driveway.

I cant count the amount of times that my crutches go on a leaf and slide unexpectedly approx 12 inches which is pretty unsteady-ing! lol Its very very annoying and then if this isnt bad enough i then have the ice to look forward to when the winter comes

Im thinking of investing in some of these...non slip treads

This works well on fixed (not spring-loaded)canes and crutches. Traction tip flips up when not in use.

DJ,i dont know..off a leaking car perhaps? I figure i need to ask my dad to clean it. I only noticed it because it had rained and the sun came out and it had all rainbow colours in it

millennialmedical.com/shop/forearm-crutch -- If your arms are thin, ask for 3" cuff. These are so durable, affordable, and ergonomically excellent. My guess is you will like the colors, but black goes with everything!
