When i was early on after my injury a helpful family member decided to take me for a 'walk' in my chair....I was pretty rubbish at wheeling at that time so they kindly gave a hand when needed....
One time, well this happened twice i almost hit the deck with one of these! LOL

Oh yeah, my chair has small caster wheels and tends to get caught on every little bump or pothole so if I'm wheeling on my own I'm fine but I've nearly face planted a couple times so now when I get a push I tell them to not push too fast and I do wheelies when I see bumps on the ground.

I use my freewheel when going for strolls in the park or whatever but I've been so busy this year I didn't get to use it much!

I've done that so many times! I hit an ice chunk winter before last and landed like six feet away from my wheelchair. I was really bruised up, and if I would have broken anything, I was ready to sue the crap out of that bar! The last couple times I involuntarily exited my wheelchair were because of spasms. I found myself in a spazzed up ball on the floor too many times last month.
