They are beautiful! But if they are stone, when wet they will be very slippery. Making a ramp of patio pavers, which can be configured into many lovely designs, works pretty well. Just have to put sand underneath to keep pavers level, and maybe an edge to hold them from shifting. If a ramp is under trees, mossy stuff can start to grow. So I scrub my pavers with bleach once in a while, using a wire brush.
