hahahahaha, Knight--love the look! Lαrα, are these lights just those tube-like strips you can buy to put around a lamp post? Good idea. I just got hit by car (in daytime) in parking garage, and anything that makes us more visible is good. I'm OK, just banged up a lot and handrim nicked up--now tears up hand... Driver ran off, car was stolen, so probably no recourse. My excuse to finally get Natural-Fit handrims?!

Wow that's terrible wavewolf but I'm glad you're ok! The lights in the original picture looks like it's an LED strip that's been somehow tied/stuck to the inside of the rim.

I picked up four reflective "slap sticks" for $2--they snap around your arm, wrist, or on chair between arm and backpost. I'm the queen of cheap! But they did no good in the daytime...with crazy driver assumed by police to be fleeing domestic abuse in stole car. Can't be too careful to get seen.

I will do some researching on Friday once I have internet, and next time I go to walmart! I'm pretty sure the LED lights strips they carry in the automotive section are similar to what was used.
