It was encouraging to read this because after travelling as a chair user some time ago i can appreciate the difference between an accessible specific infrastructure and simply taking steps for a chair user to be 'accommodated'.
This is a big difference in itself.... 
For example, Frankfurt Airport’s security control areas also have dedicated lanes for people with disabilities. These lanes are wide enough for wheelchair users and give enough room for manual checks since wheelchairs cannot go through the conventional archway metal detectors. Wherever posts prevent travellers from entering a specific area with baggage carts, special access gates still allow free passage for strollers or wheelchairs.
How perfect to hear an airport authority actually committing to true accessibility! All we need now is for other countries to follow this initiative and we are all good!
I think if not, cruises will be the way forward for some travellers who quite frankly will not want the stress and hastle of travelling by air...
