I've been working with a new pain Doc and after trying several medications only one of which(Tramadol)had some value, he suggested an FES trial for the pain. I'm looking forward to trying this new device, so Im going in December 12th for the trial implant. I have a good feeling about this.

Its used to treat pain from SCI. Theres a unit like a pacemaker and leads that are placed under the skin in the region of the spinal cord. When they turn it on it generates a frequency along the spine hopefully alleviating pain.
