Very good point, freewheeler! I do think that those with pain or B&B issues that are not sufficiently managed, or those who have been rejected and abandoned by those they loved, might have a different perspective--just being overwhelmed with unchosen changes. These things can blur the lines and feelings be transferred against one's chair/self.

When I'm diving I use my crutches to get to the the dive site...I have a crusty old pair that I'll leave dock side...just in case some one steals them. When I'm beach diving I'll take them along in case I miss my entry point
