I suffered an SCI in September 2012, and was finally discharged from rehab at the brilliant Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital on the 2nd December 2013 into a wonderful residential home where I'm slowly putting my life back together with a fantastic set of people here and the new social network I've grown over the past year.
I'm being evicted this Thursday.
Despite letters of support from my GP, counsellor and the manager here, they all consider me "ready" to be moved into an isolated property on my own 25 miles away.
One of my new friends has set up a petition at Change.org, and whilst it's got lots of support, if any of you - the people who really understand the effects an SCI can have on you not just physically but mentally - could sign it, it would mean the world to me.
Thank you all for this amazing forum, and I wish you all the best.
