This is a pretty good idea actually, this device can make almost any terrain accessible, within reason of course. Its a good adaptive devise to help with some of the accessibility issues.
Is there a web site or some place I could see more detalis? I'm just not seeing it yet? I have seen complete chairs that are driven this way but not manual.
God Bless

It would have to be motorized!!! The amount of resistance with that much contact to ground would not be possible for manual propulsion. Would expect that it is cheaper than a separate chair with tank-like treads, and you can take it off when you don't need to traverse wild terrain. Butiki, wondering how your all-terrain chair is getting you through the bush!
It's expensive but $4000 really isn't bad for what it is. I would have expected it to be almost $20k seeing as how expensive all other medical related equipment costs!
Hey Folks, I did a search on here for the Freedomtrax to see if anyone had tried it and had feedback, but the discussion here is pretty old. It looks like a great solution for beach/snow travel. I found a place that sells it for $4995 that also has financing. I'll probably be dead before it's paid off, but at least I could have a few rounds at the beach first. Anyone tried it yet? Thanks
